1Whether revenue from every platform is fully booked
Why it matters: E-commerce businesses in China typically sell across Tmall/Taobao, JD.com, Pinduoduo, Douyin, Kuaishou, and RED — each with different settlement cycles and statement formats. Tax authorities look at total business revenue, not any single platform's dashboard.
What failing this check means: If only invoiced or corporate-account receipts are booked while funds landing in personal cards or Alipay/WeChat wallets stay off the books, revenue is incomplete.
Common consequences: Incomplete revenue booking directly creates a gap between filed revenue and platform turnover. Platform–tax data sharing is now routine, making this one of the most easily flagged e-commerce risk categories.
