Can team members see my private chats and files?

A shared allowance does not mean shared content; explicit permissions control access.

Private content stays private by default

Joining a team, upgrading or inviting official service staff does not automatically expose private chats or unshared files. Administrator status, payment responsibility and a shared allowance do not by themselves grant access.

The materials list shows only content the current user is authorized to use. Seeing the team’s total storage does not reveal other people’s private filenames or contents.

What becomes available to members

Files explicitly shared with named members are available under those permissions. Files shared with “All members” also become available to later joiners. Adjust that file’s sharing status when you need to narrow access.

Explicitly transferring a file to team ownership grants the team owner the corresponding management rights. Sharing a report or external link does not also expose its originals, calculation inputs or the entire private conversation.

Service staff follow the same boundaries

Official staff can enter only customer contexts they were actually invited to and use authorized content. A personal-plan service invitation does not enable directory-based member sharing; source-file handover and platform access need separate arrangements.
