Set up the SMS assistant on Android
Allow incoming SMS access and test actual reception.
Enable and allow SMS reception
Sign in to CaiGeek on the Android phone that receives the messages. Open “Settings → SMS assistant” and tap “Enable”. Allow permission to receive SMS when the system prompts you.
The assistant uses permission to receive new messages. You do not need to make it the default SMS app, grant contacts or accessibility access, or enable developer mode.
Test actual reception
Open “Test reception”. Use another phone to send the current sample shown on the page to the receiving number, and check the result on that page.
If the test does not arrive, check SMS permission and whether the assistant is paused, then review any background restrictions shown by your phone. An enabled switch alone is not a successful test.
Bind the platform
After testing, tap “Bind” on the assistant’s home page, enter the four-digit code from the platform connection, and confirm the platform and account. The connection then appears under “Authorized platforms”.
To stop receiving temporarily, choose “Pause reception” from the top-right menu. Bindings and scheduled arrangements are retained.
