Set up the SMS assistant on iPhone
Enable the assistant, then use an iOS Shortcuts automation to pass on required verification messages.
Enable SMS reception
Sign in to CaiGeek on the iPhone that receives the platform’s messages. Open “Settings → SMS assistant” and tap “Enable”. Initial setup opens “Set up SMS automation”.
You need to create the iPhone automation once in the system app. Enabling the CaiGeek switch alone does not confirm that messages can be forwarded.
Create the system automation
Ask Siri to “Open Shortcuts,” or open the Shortcuts app on your iPhone.
- Tap Automation and create a Message automation. Set Message Contains to the Chinese character “码”. You can leave Sender blank.
- Choose “Run Immediately”.
- Add the CaiGeek action “转交取数短信” (Forward retrieval SMS). Pass the received message’s body variable into “SMS content”; do not type the variable name as plain text.
- Save, return to CaiGeek, and tap “Set up — test reception”.
Test, then bind a platform
Use another phone to send the current test message shown on the “Reception test” page to the receiving number. After the page confirms receipt, follow “Bind a receiving phone” to connect the platform.
Test each receiving number when there is more than one. A successful test for one number does not verify another SIM, and receiving a message does not itself confirm a platform login.
The assistant handles verification messages needed for current authorized tasks and reception tests; it does not read or upload your entire inbox.
