Bind a receiving phone
Use a four-digit binding code to authorize a phone to receive verification messages for a connection.
Generate a code in the connection
The connection manager opens “Connection settings → Receiving phone” for the platform, then chooses “Bind receiving phone”, or “Change receiving phone” if one is already bound. The four-digit code is valid for 10 minutes and can be used once.
You can bind the phone before completing platform login. This is a CaiGeek authorization code, not the SMS verification code sent by the platform.
Confirm on the receiving phone
The phone and the device generating the code must use the same CaiGeek account or belong to the same team. The phone custodian signs in with their own account and opens “SMS assistant → Bind” after enabling reception.
Enter all four digits, including any leading zero. Tap “Next”, check the account context, platform, login account and connection manager, then select “Confirm authorization”.
Confirm the binding
The connection appears under “Authorized platforms” on the phone, and the other device updates automatically. If it says “Bound — complete reception setup”, finish the phone setup and reception test.
If the receiving number is not yet verified, it is checked against the platform during the first actual login. Bind again after changing the platform login identity or phone custodian.
